movie blurb...Lars and the Real Girl

Christianity Today gives Lars and the Real Girl high marks. Peter Rainer of The Christian Science Monitor gave the film an "A-". Rainer wrote, "Director Craig Gillespie and screenwriter Nancy Oliver want to shock audiences, but not in the ways you might expect. Their movie is about loneliness and the ways in which it is mitigated by human kindness. If Frank Capra were starting out today, he might have made a film like this one."
Mr Capra's best films include "Mr Deeds goes to Town", the original "Lost Horizen", "You Can't Take it With you", "Mr Smith Goes to Washington", and "It's a Wonderful Life".
