ANTIGOD OR JUST FOR FUN? Lots of smoke already over "The Golden Compass" scheduled for release on December 7, 2007. According to Snopes.com "the movie is based on a series written by avowed atheist Phillip Pullman...He left little doubt about his intentions when he said in a 2003 interview "my books are about killing God". Conservative British columnist Peter Hitchens labeled him the most dangerous man in Britain...atheists would have been praying for if atheists prayed." While we at Blurbat don't like to prejudge and love great fantasy movies we are suspicious that this is a wolf in sheep's clothing. Stay tuned.
