I volunteered at a martial arts event on this past Saturday. I noticed lots of pudgy bellied black belts. I thought that's odd. All that discipline...but how many areas of life does it spill over into? No question they have determination and guts and stick-to-it-ness. But maybe the restraining-passions part is lacking. I don't know.

I've seen this movie and it does have some of the standard fare of martial arts movies. But something about this movie is different. Many of the martial arts scenes are filmed in a "supernatural" fasion which almost transforms them into a sort of ballet.
