The team dug up 35 skeletons. five of them were perfect female skeletons.
"The five were found buried together with steel or bronze swords, and helmet-shaped objects, said Yasuda, who is from the government-backed International Research Center for Japanese Studies.

In the Bible there are a few references to women as warriors. It appears however to have been very uncommon for Hebrew women to fight.
