A buddy of mine loves to draw cartoon characters. She would be very impressed with these. I can't find the original artist, if anyone knows let me know and I will credit them. Check them all out here. My buddy recommends "Drawing" by Jim Bradrick for a good starter book for drawing.
I've always loved this one...I saw a whole buch of MC Escher at an art show in Seattle a few years ago...I'll post a few others later cus they are cool.
