VICTIMS OF MODERN ART: Three people have fallen into an artistic crack in the floor of the Tate museum. The Brazilian sculptor who made the crack says that it represents the gap between white Europeans and the rest of the world. According to Salcedo, the sculptor, "the fissure is bottomless.....as deep as humanity". Museum workers on the other hand report that the crack is about three feet at it's deepest. No one was seriously hurt. The biggest crack I can see in this whole story is in the logic of whoever thought that a crack is art.
