from Liberatis:
"Prey is a kind of early version of Mel Gibson’s teriffic Apocalypto where...Little dialogue, much suspense. Please note the star directed himself. Some give this points for existentialism, but all I got out of it was, Bro, don’t offend the natives. I’m kidding. There’s a lot going on and those of you fortunate enough to have ever seen Burt Lancaster’s The Swimmer or even Spielberg’s Duel will recognize the vibe. It’s been years and I’m excited about seeing it again, especially in its original 2.35:1 widescreen."
