A friend (who also posts on Blurbat) and I had an argument yesterday about whether or not gambling is wrong.
He says:
Gambling is a form of greed and promotes a desire for money
I say:
It is a form of entertainment that like many things can lead to problems if uncontrolled.
He says:
It is taking money that you haven't earned and so is shameful.
I say:
Many people earn more than is justified by what they do. We don't call that shameful.
He says:
It is poor use of money God has given us.
I say:
Like watching most of the movies out today isn't?
He says:
Jesus wouldn't play the slots.
I say:
Hmmm.
I don't think we have come to a conclusion.
