Sport blurb of the day

Big college football day yesterday. For the first time in 11 years the number one and two teams in the country lose on the same day. Kentucky beats number 1 LSU and Oregon State squeaks by number 2 Cal. The most interesting play of the day is the last play of Oregon State-Cal game when inexplicably Cal quarterback Kevin Riley decides to run with the ball rather than throwing it away thus allowing time to run out before an almost certain field goal can be kicked.
